Cards Orlando Show 4

Hi All,

Here is a continuation of cards from the Orlando Show. I stamped this one with the Glue Pad and sprinkled the Sparkletts Blue Ice glitter on the Ice Blue Pearlescent paper.

This card was on the blue cardstock and using the 1 inch hole punch I punched little "windows" for the puppies to look out of. I used the Versa Fine Vintage Sepia for the puppies, colored them in and then put 3D Lacquer sprinkled with the Fun Fluff for the fluffy texture.

This is using the new Box Template. I punched 1/8 inch holes for the handles to create handles. A cute purse.

Still more cards to come. I'm on a roll....

Cards Orlando Show 3

Hi All,

Here are more cards and projects to tickle your creative bone. This first one is a bag I made using the Paige paisley decorated paper. I used the circle stamps and Marvy punch for decoration. This card was stamped in the Versa Fine Vintage Sepia with the Filigree stamp. I used the 3d Lacquer with the new Sparkletts Bronze glitter for a dimensional sparkle. I used the matching Bronze Pearlescent paper with the punch to "outline" the circle word punch. The top border was using the Brilliance Jade pad. The Aquamarine paper gave a nice contrast to the brown, it matches the Jade pad perfectly.

I used the Versa Fine Onyx Black pad to create this bright card. I stamped the filigree stamp on the white base card and overlaid it with the Vellum paper. I embellished the center filigree stamp with the 3d Lacquer and the Cherry Red Sparkletts glitter.

More cards are coming. Check back again.

Cards Orlando Show 2

Hi All,

This is a continuation of the stamping fun I had in Orlando. We met a lady that brought a magazine that is available in the UK. They did a full feature on our Mimi stamps. It was amazing.

It was in the January 2009 issue and the article was called Mimi's Magical Christmas.

This card was using the new Filigree stamps. I stamped the Brilliance Platinum pad on the Vellum paper on the Vellum paper. Though you can't see it, I stamped the filigree stamp in Versa Magic Aloe Vera on the white card base. I used the Pearlescent paper for the punch scallop "outline" and stamped the circle birthday and double circle stamp in the same Aloe Vera. I finished the card with the sheer ribbon. A very soft and elegant look.

Here is the box template in blue and navy. I stamped the background with the Versa Magic Sea Breeze stamp. the circle stamps were stamped in the Versa Fine Majestic Blue. I added glitter using the 3D Lacquer and Blue Ice Sparkletts glitter.

I did another version of this card before. I used the Brilliance Platinum on Vellum paper for the subtle look. I lined the vellum with the black cardstock for contrast. Very eye catching and dramatic.

There's more to come. Check back soon.

Cards- Orlando Show

Hi All,

We just returned from Orlando, FL. Weather was pleasant along with the pleasant folks. I did lots of stamping and brought back pictures for you.
We premiered our gift bag and box template and will have them available on the website. They are packaged in a ten pack. We will have colors available online only for now. At the show we have white available for easy decorating.

I enjoyed using the new word and circle stamps to create a fun embellishment. They give a finished look. Marvy punch has a little "window" that allows you to center your stamping and then punch out.

Here is one of the bag templates. Great for gift giving, favors and just because. With Easter coming up, you can fill with jelly beans, chocolate candies and mini treats. You can put the shredds at the bottom and have the edibles in a cellophane bag in the gift bag.
I used the new circle word and circle stamp along with the Marvy punch for the gift tag. Super Cute!

We will be heading to Ft Lauderdale this coming weekend. We'd love to see you. I have lots more to post in the next few days. Check back daily.

Card Week Day 5

Hi All,

Here is Day 5 of Card Week. Lots of cards and lots of ideas.

This card was stamped on the Bronze pearlescent card. It's similar to one I posted on a previous day this week. Just a variation of the same theme. Great if you are making a card gift set for someone. Here is the Easter chicks in a different format.

I wanted to make a birthday themed card and used the flower trifle set to create the "strings" for the balloons. You can do a thank you card by using the same flower stamps and the Mimi bouquet stamp and stamping the sentiment, "Thanks a bunch".

Here's the cover for the pop up card. I used the circle stamps to create a mod background. This card ended up being a square card.

We will be heading to Orlando and doing the show this weekend. I will have more card projects to come.

Card Week Day 4

Hi All,

Here is Day 4 of card week. This following card was stamped in the Brilliance Platinum on the White Vellum Paper. I used the 3D Lacquer and added the Silver iridescent glitter. A great card for all occasions, even for men.

This new vine and tree stamp is great for all seasons. Just change the dots using the 3D Lacquer to make it fit all the seasons. I used brown and red as the main colors in this card. I used the new red glitter and the gold glitter.

Here is a Heart chickie you can use for many occasions. Most recently for Valentines.

Here's the cover for the pop up card.

Check back tomorrow for another day of cards.

Card Week Day 3

Hi All,

This is Day 3 of week of cards. I got to use the funny monkeys on a pop up card. The new saying that goes with it is "Hang in There". A sweet encouraging note.

Cute new chick with heart balloon. Can be used for Valentines or birthday.
Love the filigree stamps. I used the Ice Blue pearlescent paper and stamped it in the Chocolate Brown Brilliance pad. I stamped the brown cardstock with Versafine Vintage Sepia for the brown borders. The circle stamps are so versatile for cards and projects.

Come back again tomorrow for more cards.

This is a tent card using the Easter chicks. Folds flat for mailing. The fresh colors go great with this season. I used the Versacolor Lime and Versafine satin red with the new dot stamp.

This is the cover of the pop-up card.

Here are new shopping chickies.

This bronze pearlescent card was stamped with the Glue Pad and bronze glitter. A very elegant and stunning look.

Show- Lawrenceville, GA

Hi All,

We enjoyed being with some of you in Georgia. The southern hospitality spirit is second to none. You touched our hearts and we made some fast friends. I loved seeing some familiar faces.

Since launching our new collection, I was looking forward to playing with them at the show demo. I will be posting many cards this week to showcase them. Check daily and you will have them all.

One particular one that I enjoyed creating was Mimi on a scooter. I used the cars and trucks Trifles set to create "traffic" for her. She is mounted on a pop-up card base.

All supplies available from http://www.denamidesign.com/

Here's the cover to the card. Very chic! (chick:)This is using the filigree stamps. I love the new words and circles used with the punch. Lots of gold embossing and 3D Lacquer and gold iridescent glitter.

Our stamping friend, Gail, stopped by and spent some time with us. She showed me her cute birthday card using the Bird-day chickies. Super cute! Thanks Gail!!

Our next stop is Orlando, FL. Come on by and say, "hello".
