YouTube Video- Baby Lamb Card and Double Show Weekend

Hi All,

We just arrived in Novi, MI for the weekend show at the Rock Financial Showplace. We will also be exhibiting in our state at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. Stop by and watch a live demo featuring our new fall/winter 2009 collection.

I also finished a Baby Lamb Card YouTube video. It is a simple card that you can use with few supplies, but the result is wonderful. Watch here.

Sweet cards

Hi All,

Summer is not summer without cherries. Here it is on a card. I love the bright color combo. I stamped with the Versa Fine Vintage Sepia and colored with markers. You can't see it very well in this photo, but I also stamped the dotted circle in the glue pad and sprinkled with the Blue Ice Sparklets glitter. Here's one of our newest chickie stamps. The candies looks yummy. I used lots of 3D Lacquer along with Fun Fluff and glitter for the dimension. This card was done with just the one stamp.

Christmas Frogs

Hi All,

It's not too early to think Christmas and the holidays. This is part of the new collection. Add 3D Lacquer to the frogs and you have a dimensional touch. I added the lacquer and Fun Fluff on their hats and also glitter on the starts and trees.

This was a simple card. I stamped the Mini Polka dot in the Impress Cherry Pink to create the pink card background. I also used the pearlescent green cardstock for the scallop circle. I punched with the 2 and 2 1/2 inch scallop circle punches with the nesting stamps. The charms were using the one inch punch.

How to load an ATG 700 Adhesive Gun

Hi All,

If you have been keeping up with my blog posts, you'll know that I enjoy the 3M ATG 700 Adhesive Gun. It is easy to use because it can easily be "removed" by rubbing off the paper, much like rubber cement. You can roll little glue dots with it and it is virtually invisible under vellum paper (over white paper).

The refills are economical since it is 36 yards (108 feet/1250 inches) for about $4 US. It's available on http://www.denamidesign.com/

I created a video showing how to load the ATG gun.

Buttons

Hi All,

Since summer is not over yet, here's Mimi sunbathing with her little tropical drink. The Boutique Buttons were attached with the ATG adhesive made into glue dots. The patterned paper is part of the Paige Collection.
Here's a new chickie in his rainslicker. We also have a larger version with an open umbrella. We have a new saying you can use with it. "Heard You're Under the Weather."

Farmer Chick

Hi All,

I had to show another pop-up card. I used the new farmyard stamps. Notice the chickie in the plane, I added the party hat to him. He's pulling a little banner with a birthday message. Cuteness.

I like the new message bubbles. You can write or stamp anything. You can use it in your scrapbooking or with the Mimi stamps. Lots of fun possibilities.

Here's a close up of Farmer Chick. Isn't he adorable??

Just stamp them in the Versa Fine Black Onyx and then color in with markers. The instant dry quality of the pad creates the vibrant look of the image.

Sparkle

Hi All,

Here are more new stamps and products. I stamped this card in Versa Fine Onyx Black and added 3D Lacquer and sprinkled the Ruby Red Sparklets Glitter and the Evergreen.

This was stamped with the Platinum Planer Brilliance pad on the Eggplant cardstock. The shimmer from the pad makes the impression pop. I added touches of 3D Lacquer sprinkled with the Silver and Amethyst Sparklets Glitter.

I used the new Charcoal Pearlescent paper, Pearl and Silver for the band.

New Stamps

Hi All,

As many of you know, we just launched our new fall/winter 2009 season of stamps. Below are a couple of projects using them.

This one was stamped with the VersaFine Onyx Black, but you can use the Majectic Blue also. I used the 3D Lacquer for the rain slicker and 3D Lacquer sprinkled with the Fun Fluff for the chick. I then used the 3D Lacquer sprinkled with glitter on the umbrella. Lots of dimension and glitz.
This one was done by one of our designers. It was stamped in Versa Fine and colored in with markers. The Blue Ice Cardstock is used for a subtle shimmer. Great combination of color.

Second You Tube video is now ready

Hi All,

We just returned from a hot show in Texas. And I do mean HOT. It was over 100 degrees. Yikes! I guess the NW is more my kind of weather. We did return to 90 plus degrees, but even that those 10 degrees makes a difference.
Thank you for you comments regarding the YouTube video. I have been busy editing my second installment and it's ready for your viewing pleasure:

The following is a card it did in Hartford the week before TX. This lady came to watch the demo and her cheerful shirt inspired me to make this card. I love the colors.

I have many posts this coming week, so check back tomorrow for the next card.

Cards 3

Hi All,

Here's another all occasion card that can be used as a birthday card, as well. We have words like "To My Sweet Friend" and "Happy Birthday Sweet Friend" that can be used with this card. This lamb card was made on the white cardstock and stamped with the VersaMagic Sea Breeze and Aloe Vera with the Mini Polka Dot. That dot is so handy to make backgrounds with. Great for showers, all occasion cards, etc.

After coloring the lamb, I used the 3D Lacquer and sprinkled on the Fun Fluff. I then added a second layer of lacquer to the lambs ear and more Fluff for the dimension. Cute, cute, cute!

Cards 2

Hi All,

Here is a birthday card for anyone that is wild at heart or young at heart. I used the Safari Trifles and adorned them with party hats and balloons from the Party Time Petit Fours stamp set. Lots of happy color.
I used the Rosevine Petit Fours stamp set and created my own wreath with the daisy and stamped the leaf sprig as a filler for the wreath. The leaves were stamped in the Spanish Moss VersaFine pad. I loved the unique color, not too bright or dull. If you change the color to oranges, red and brown with touches of green, you can use it in the fall.

Cards

Hi All,

We just posted and released the 2009 fall/winter collection here: http://denamidesign.com/cart.php?m=product_list&c=87

We have great classes, so be sure to check out your local store for dates.

We will be heading to Hartford, CT July 11-12. We will bring all of our new collection there. It's a great time to design your Christmas card and buy supplies there.

Here is a dimensional card that is bright and cheery. I used the Lacquer on the ladybugs for a glossy dimension. I stamped the curly vine stamp in the Glue pad and sprinkled with the Ruby Red Sparklets glitter.

Here is an all occasion card with lots of dimension, as well. I used the VersMagic Sea Breeze and Aloe Vera for the delicate background color. Even the one inch circle punches have the dotted polka dot behind the daisy. It looks like a light blue cardstock, but it's the VersaMagic.
