Cards, Loveland Show Day 4

Hi All,

I love this color combo of the red and brown. It has such a cheery look. I used the square dot stamp and the scallop square punch for a change. I added the 3D Lacquer over the leaves with the Ruby Red Sparkletts for the dimensional shine. I also added dots of the lacquer and Bronze Sparkletts on the Scallop Square punches around the leafy sprigs. The stamping was done with the Satin Red Versa Fine and Vintage Sepia Versa Fine. This was a funny card to do. You can add photos to any of the Mimi stamps or to the Hawaiian shirts and shorts. Use your imagination. You can make this dimensional by cutting it our and adding to the Pop-up card for more hilarity. Also, you can use an "oversized" head to add humor. Perfect for the cast off photos that are sitting in a drawer. Especially, those group photos that have someone with their eyes closed. Hey, you can even use those photos for a real life effect:)

Cards- Loveland Show Day 3

Hi All,

I have quite a few posts to put up, I just have been busy around here since we have a few weekends off.

I stamped the card below with the Versa Fine Onyx and colored with markers. I added the Quickie Glue pen and sprinkled with Sparkletts. I added dots of 3D Lacquer to the middle of the poinsettias and the Ruby Red Sparkletts.
Here's the Jade and Chocolate Brown color combo. The great thing about the paper combo (Chocolate Brown Cardstock, Bronze paper and Jade paper) is that there are ink pads to match them perfectly. You would use the Jade and Chocolate Brown Brilliance pads to match. I stamped the Glue Pad with the Filigree for the band across the card and sprinkled the Bronze Sparkletts glitter.

Cards- Loveland Show day 2

Hi All,

We just finished our show in Colorado Springs, CO. Thank you to all the enthusiastic stampers who expressed their gratefulness at our attendance. The weather was quite warm. Unfortunately, the AC was on the fritz and it was hotter inside than usual. Not good for a show that is majority women;)

Below are a couple of cards my daughter made for a couple of her friends. They were too good not to share. I love the dimesional aspect of the first one. She used the Medium double ring, the Medium Filigree and the Thank you circle for dimensional punch out. The actual the dimensional punch out with the 2.5 inch Marvy Punch and the window was with the 3 inch Giga punch. The background was stamped with the Leafy Sprig. You can find the supplies here http://www.denamidesign.com This next one is so cheerful. I love the color combo on that. It was for a birthday. The gal was a Baking School Graduate, so the cake was apropos. The cute touches like the button and ribbon was nice. She used the Versa Fine pad and markers for the cake and flowers.

Young Guest artist

Hi All,

While at the Loveland, CO show, I had a mom and daughter stop by that I met in Denver, CO. They had been fans of DeNami and we enjoyed a time of chatting and I was able to share some more inspiration. They came back the next day for some show and tell. Marion, who is 13 years old, brought some cards she had done with our stamps. It was so fun to see. I thought I would share them with you.

This was such a bright and cheery card.
These cards had lots of color and sparkle.

How fun to see the cherries in purple. I never would have thought of that. The Mini Polka Dot was a nice touch to the background to tie in the shapes and textures.

I love how she used the two sizes of rings to create a circle to frame the valentine chickie.

These chickies had the Citrone glitter, which I call "chickie glitter" because it makes the chickies sparkle while still being able to see their faces. It's translucent and perfect for them.

I like the contrast of the black, white and yellow for this card. Great layering of the punches, too.

Here is a bright card with a fun color combo.

This next one will bring sunshine with the neon colors. Thank you, Marion, for sharing your creativity with us all.

Cards- Loveland Show Day 1

Hi All,

Here is a group pic with Christy's Main Street gang. We were in the Stampaway USA show in Cincinnati, OH. Christy is on the left. She will be hosting some classes in her Ohio store. You can see the dates here http://www.denamidesign.com/classes.html

While we were in Loveland, OH, we had a customer named Mary stop by who purchased from us from HONG KONG! She was visiting from Hong Kong and was delighted that DeNami was in Colorado while she was there. Here is a great Fall card you can do using the Leafy Wreath. I've dressed up the wreath with poinsettias for a Christmas card. You can also add the tiny daisy from the PF05 Rosevine Flowers petit fours set for a spring wreath. You can also just use it plain and add the 3D Lacquer and an assortment of glitter colors. I cut out the Autumn petit fours set and dressed up the wreath. I added the 3D Lacquer for the glossy shine. The Lacquer is on the background and on the wreath with Bronze Sparkletts glitter accented with dots of Ruby Red Sparkletts glitter on the background card. Here's a cute little placecard you can do for Thanksgiving. You may opt for the dot circle instead of an invitation circle. I already had this cut out for a card, but used it for a placecard instead. I added the 3D Lacquer and Fun Fluff for the furry texture.

Cards- Cincinnati Show Day 3

Hi All,

Here are some cards using the versatile trees. I stamped the first card using the Glue Pad and sprinkled on the Silver and Black Sparkletts glitter. I used the Marcasite, Pearl and Silver pearlescent papers. I used the White Cardstock for the punch and stamped with the VersaFine Onyx Black pad.
The background was stamped with the Leafy Sprig in the Brilliance Sky Blue. I accented with the 3D Lacquer and Blue Ice Sparkletts glitter. I used the Navy Blue cardstock for the band and framed the trees with it. I then framed that with the Pearl paper. I topped off with the Baby Blue ribbon. I used the "perfect bow" technique that you can see on some of the projects I have on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/denamidesign
