Birdie Bag

Hello All,

Here is another Easter idea that can be used beyond the holiday. It can be used as a little springtime goodie. I used the Purse Template to create this little bag. I just trimmed off the flap to make this an open bag. I punched holes on the sides and threaded grosgrain ribbon and knotted the ends. I stuffed it with the Shredds and added the Boutiques buttons using the ATG gun to make glue dots. All supplies available from http://www.denamidesign.com

I filled it with decorated Hershey Nugget chocolates. If you click on the photos, you will see the enlarged details of the project.

Thanks for visiting!

Bunny Card

Hi All,

I hope you had a great spring day today.

Easter is nearing, so I thought I would add to the Easter card collection. I made my own background with the stitch stamp, Mini Swiss Dot and Mini Daisy from the Rosette Petit Fours stamp set. I stamped with the Versafine and colored with Tombow Markers.

I liked the little bows and the buttons to finish off the card. A simple and sweet card.

If you click on the card, you can see the detail on the bunnies. I used the 3D Lacquer and Fun Fluff to add fuzzy texture to the bunnies. I also used the lacquer and glitter for the dimension on the ears, basket and eggs.

Enjoy!

Cards Tucson and Portland show day 5

Hi All,
Here are some fun pop ups made at both shows. I made this one going vertically instead of the horizontal layout. I cutout the party hats from the party petit fours set to create a festive look. It also adds color to the card. Here my daughter made this with the egg trifles and Easter petit fours sets.

Cards Glendale Show day 4

Hi All,
Here are some Easter and spring cards you can do. I stamped the polka dots in the Versa Magic Sea Breeze. I also stamped the polka dots in the Versa Magic in Aloe Vera on the green Coordinates paper. I stamped the dot circle in the Sea Breeze and used the 1.5 inch scallop circle punch. I then stamped the one inch polka dot in the Aloe Vera, stamped the eggs in the Versa Fine Vintage Sepia, colored them in Tombow markers and punched it out with a one inch punch and mounted it on foam tape, dipped it on the Glue pad and then dipped it in the Lime Sherbet Sparkletts glitter. I then mounted it onto the scallop cutout.

I used the ATG adhesive gun to create a "rope" and attached the Shredds and stuck it behind the circle scallop cutouts. I used the mounting tape to attach to the card. This is the cover for the pop up card.
This is the pop up tiered card turned upside down. A great alternative variation for the pop up cards. Just used your imagination!

I love this cheery card. Lots of dots and bright and fruity touches. I did the same treatment to the scallop cutouts as the egg one above.

Cards Glendale Show day 3

Hi All,

Here are variations on cards I showcased before. Below on the pop up cards, I did a slightly different layout. I used the ATG adhesive to roll a "rope" to stick the Shredds to.
I embossed the Large Filigree in gold for a very elegant look.

Card Week Day 5

Hi All,

Here is Day 5 of Card Week. Lots of cards and lots of ideas.

This card was stamped on the Bronze pearlescent card. It's similar to one I posted on a previous day this week. Just a variation of the same theme. Great if you are making a card gift set for someone. Here is the Easter chicks in a different format.

I wanted to make a birthday themed card and used the flower trifle set to create the "strings" for the balloons. You can do a thank you card by using the same flower stamps and the Mimi bouquet stamp and stamping the sentiment, "Thanks a bunch".

Here's the cover for the pop up card. I used the circle stamps to create a mod background. This card ended up being a square card.

We will be heading to Orlando and doing the show this weekend. I will have more card projects to come.

Card Week Day 2

Hi All,

Here's day 2 in my week of cards. I had so many to post that I thought I would give you a slow stream of them this whole week.

This is a tent card using the Easter chicks. Folds flat for mailing. The fresh colors go great with this season. I used the Versacolor Lime and Versafine satin red with the new dot stamp.

This is the cover of the pop-up card.

Here are new shopping chickies.

This bronze pearlescent card was stamped with the Glue Pad and bronze glitter. A very elegant and stunning look.

More to come. Check back tomorrow!
