Christmas is round the corner and I have been thinking, creating and making Christmas cards for the past few months. We were recently at a stamp show in Milwaukee, WI and I had the chance to play with my fun collection of Christmas stamps.

This Pink Gingerbread Card had a festive and fun look to it. It reminded me of the colors and flavors of Christmas. This bright new twist of luscious colors will bring cheer to your recipients.

I started out with a 5.5x8.5 pink cardstock, available from DeNami Design and folded it in half. I stamped it with the Impress cherry pink pad. I then cut a strip of the Watermelon dots paper to make a 2x5.5 strip and attached it. I cut a .25 inch strip using the Emerald green paper and overlayed on the seam of the dots paper.

On the DeNami white cardstock, I punched the square scallop with the Marvy jumbo punch. I stamped the gingerbread stamp with the Versafine Vintage Sepia pad and colored in with Tombow markers. I then punched DeNami's brown cardstock in the giga scallop square and layered the gingerbread and the brown panels together. I then attached to the card.

On the white cardstock, I punched out 3 one inch circles and stamped in the Vintage Sepia pad using the Christmas Dots Petit Fours stamp set and colored it in. I then mounted it to the card with foam mounting tape.

I used the Quickie Glue pen to add the Strawberry Freeze Sparklets glitter. The final touch was using Sakura Hobby Craft Crystal Lacquer on the Gingerbread house and the Christmas Dots.
