Card and Tag- Loveland Show Day 8

Hi All,

Here's a fun thing to do with the circle punch. You can create matching gift tags by just punching a tiny hole at the top and threading it with a narrow ribbon or metallic elastic. You can also use the punch outs for a topper on a canning jar.

Here is another filigree card with the Bronze and Jade color combo.

Cards- Loveland Show Day 7

Hi All,

We are in Greenville, SC this weekend. Drop by if you can.

I stamped these two with the daisies. If you look closely, you can see the Starlett stamp stamped with the Glue pad and sprinkled with glitter between the mini polka dot.
This mini daisy is from the Rosevine Petit Fours collection stamped in the Versa Fine Vintage Sepia and colored with markers. The mini polka dot was in the Sea Breeze Versa Magic.

I used the double line square to "outline" the scalloped punch out. I then traced the line with the Quickie glue pen and sprinkled the Magenta Sparkletts glitter.

Cards- Loveland Show Day 6

Hi All,

Here are some filigree cards. They are variations of ones I have done before. By changing up the colors, you can create a different look. I stamped the background here in the Vintage Sepia Versa Fine and used the 3D Lacquer with the Bronze Sparkletts glitter. I added touches of the lacquer with the Misty Blue Sparkletts on the large filigree punch out.
I stamped the Med Filigree in the Olympia Green Versa Fine for a nice neutral green color. The band was layered in the Marcasite paper, Pearl and Hunter Green.

Gift Packs 2

Hi All,

Here's part two of the gift pack. This is for you doggie lovers. This is the other gift bag template.
I stamped the mini polka dot for the background on both. I love the dots on the projects. It makes it whimsical.

Gift Packs

Hi All,

I thought I would share some fun ideas to incorporate a gift with a coordinating card. The "purse" is a template of a box and you thread ribbon at the top to create a purse. You can find two different kinds of templates here: http://denamidesign.com/cart.php?m=product_list&c=91

I used the mini polka dot for the background to make my own pattern. I also used the various circle stamps (nesting stamps) to create a cute punch for the center of the bag and card. The mini scallop with the heart is from the Easter Sunday Petit fours stamp set.

The bag would be great to fill with little edible goodies or a small gift. By using your imagination, you can create a fun ensemble. Try mini lip gloss pots, mini hand balm creams, a pack of gum, mints, mini nail polish, etc.

Stay tuned, I have part two of the gift packs tomorrow...

Fabulous Button Tree!

Hi All,

Paulina at Pretty Pink Posh posted these adorable Button Trees on her blog:

She took a styrofoam cone and used the pearl end straight pins to secure the buttons to the cone. After finishing them, she put them on candle holders for pedestals. She used the Bubble Gum and Lime buttons from DeNami available here: http://denamidesign.com/cart.php?m=product_list&c=118

You can also create the same look using a styrofoam ball and making into a Button ball ornament.

Visit her blog and leave her a comment and tell her how much you like it!

Cards- Loveland Show Day 5

Hi All,

I am continuing to upload my blog entries. I have many to post, but am slow at doing it right now. We are starting school again, back at the homefront and had a full week of festivities, including a wedding to attend and help at. It was great.

We are preparing for our next show in Greenville, SC. We haven't been there, but the word is that stamping is going strong there. We look forward to meeting you there.

Here is a cute little card using a button. The simplicity and sweetness of it would make this an easy one to go to when you need a quick card.

The mini polka dot was stamped with the Cherry Pink Impress pad.
The mini polka dot was stamped with the Aloe Vera and Sea Breeze Versa Magic pads. I then stamped the dot circle with the Glue pad and sprinkled the Sparkletts glitter. I used the Marvy Yellow punch for the double ring and then the Marvy Blue punch with the Blue Ice Pearlescent paper.

The band was with the Jade pearlescent paper and the Bronze pearlescent paper. I used the Vintage Sepia Versafine pad for the mini daisies (from the Rosevine Petit Fours stamp set), the daisy and the double ring.
