Sneak Peek!

Hi All,

As promised, here's a sneak peek of one of the upcoming classes. We will have four DeNami National Classes. Two Blitz classes, and Elegant Holiday class and a pop-up card class.

Check for local store listings on http://www.denamidesign.com/classes.html to see if one is coming your way. If you would like to have a class in your area, contact your local store and request they sponsor DeNami Design signature classes.

The fall/winter 2009 collection will be available beginning of July.

Also, coming up, we will be posting card projects on video. If you have ever seen me demo at a show, you will enjoy watching it up close and at your pace. We are working the details, so watch for that. Let me know if that is something you look forward to. That might light a fire under me to speed up the process:)

Have a fabulous weekend.

Cards- Syracuse Show Day 5

Hi All,

This vine was stamped in Black Versa Fine and I used the 3D Lacquer and Ruby Red Sparklets glitter and Midnight Blue glitter. The Midnight blue was so dark it looked like black on the tiny leaves. I used the Eggplant cardstock and Platinum Brilliance pad with the vines to create the background. I then used the 3D Lacquer with the Amethyst and Silver Sparklets glitter for the dimensional glitz. I stamped the cream cardstock with the Imperial Purple VersFine pad then colored in with markers. I also used the Quickie glue pen with the Lavender Frost Sparklets glitter for the delicate shine.

Cards- Syracuse Show Day 4

Here's a fun little all occasion pop up card. Here's the cover. I stamped the mini polka dot with the Cherry Pink Impress pad on the Magenta cardstock.

This is what the inside looks like. This pop up card with in the Variety pack.

This was a vellum overlay stamped in the Platinum Brilliance pad over a black cardstock. A very elegant card. I used silver accents for the layers. I also used the 3D Lacquer with the Silver Sparklets glitter for the dimensional sparkles on the stripe layer.

Cards- Syracuse Show Day 3

Hi All,

Here is a sweet card for all occasions. I used the VersaMagic pad for the faint stripes. It's using the solid polka dot rectangle. You can also stamp it on a white address label and print the daisies on it and wrap around Hershey's nugget chocolates as on the following picture.

I used the one inch circle punch for the charms on the ribbon. You'll need two punch outs for each ribbon end. I stamped the dotted lined for the pattern.
Here is another gift box idea. I used the one inch circle punch with this tulip scallop circle and attached to the address label. You can wrap the address label around Hershey's nuggets.
These gift tags fit in the clear box. I used the 2 inch and 2.5 inch scallop circle punches.

update

Hi All,

We just finished finalizing the class cards for the fall/winter season. The new designs are already being produced and will debut the beginning of July. It is fun seeing them coming to life.

We will do a sneak peek as wek get closer. We took your requests and put together the collections that would work together. There are some new concepts, but also more of what you are wanting. Can't wait to show you.

I am looking into doing a YouTube video. For those of you who have enjoyed my demos, I would like to put them on video for you to review at home. For thos of you who haven't seen me demo, it will give you a chance to see it for yourselves. Let me know if those of you out there have some experience with recording on YouTube.

Cards- Syracuse Show Day 2

Hi All,

Here is another clear box idea. I stamped this long rectangle stamp and decorated with two stamps from the Easter Sunday Petit Fours stamp set. I created a band to wrap this chocolate filled clear box.

I stamped this swirl stamp with the Glue Pad and sprinkled the Blue Ice Sparklets glitter for a delicate shimmer.

I also stamped the large dot circle and punched it with the 3 inch punch. I stamped the wedding circle stamp and punched out four 2 inch scallop circles. I then punched out the 1.5 inch middles to create a ring. I attached them with the Atg adhesive to create a dimensional effect.

Cards- Syracuse Show Day 1

Hi All,

Here is another cupcake tower card using the pop-up card kit. It has a French Bakery feel. You can almost taste the sweetness.

I stamped the Mini Polka dot with the Versa Magic Sea Breeze on the Baby blue coordinates paper.

I like to stamp with the Versa Fine Onyx Black and color with markers for vibrant color.

This card is similar to the one a did, but used the Vine stamp as a background instead of the Centerpiece Filigree stamp. I used the Platinum Brilliance pad with the 3D Lacquer and Silver Sparklets glitter.

Cards- W Springfield Show Day 5

Hi All,

This card can be used for bridal showers, birthdays, weddings and all occasions. You can couple it with the "To my Sweet Friend" arch stamp or "Life's a Delight with Sweet Friends like you".

This card is like one I made before, but I added a cute button to the middle of the daisy.

Cards- W Springfield Show Day 3

Hi All,

We just finished our Collinsville, IL show. We had a nice time with the stampers there. Thank you for a fun time.

Here are some card inspirations. This eggplant card was stamped in the Platinum Brilliance pad. I used the 3D Lacquer to fill in the detailing of the Centerpiece Filigree and sprinkled the Silver Sparklets glitter. I stamped a separate square panel with the Imperial Purple VersFine and used the lacquer and Amethyst and Gamma Green glitters for the dimensional glitz. I used the Pearl paper to outline the square panel and middle panel. The Iridescent edge ribbon topped off this elegant card.

I stamped this card with the Versa Fine Onyx Black and colored in with markers. I used the Polka Dot border to create the decorative waistband. The double circle and Birthday Wishes circle stamped with the Wedding Petit Fours set finished off the center. I used the 2 inch and 2.5 inch punches to create the centerpiece. This pop up card was fun to create. I transformed the Safari animals into party animals. I borrowed the monkeys from the monkey stamp scene and cut out party hats from the Party set Petit Fours to add color and a festive touch. The Vine stamp is versatile since it can be used with the safari stamps and to create an elegant card.

Cards- W Springfield Show Day 2

Hi All,

I had fun making this fun pop up card. I added fun touches to create a whimsical card.

I stamped the Vine stamp in Versa Fine Vintage Sepia and Versa Fine Satin Red for a tone on tone background. This Vine can be used with the safari animals, monkeys or for an elegant look. Very versatile. Notice the monkeys climbing up the ice cream cones. The middle one is eating the cone. I attached the cherry on top of his head. Add 3D Lacquer for added shine and dimension.

I love this elegant look. The black and white look can be masculine, as well. I stamped the Vine in the Onyx Black VersaFine. I added 3D Lacquer to the leaves and sprinkled the Silver Sparkletts glitter. After stamped the center images (With Love circle and Tree) in Onyx Black, I added the 3D Lacquer and Midnight Blue Sparkletts around the leaves. I put the 3D Lacquer on the leaves and the Silver Sparkletts Glitter. I used the Pearl and Silver pearlescent papers for the band for an elegant look.

This card was stamped in the Imperial Purple VersaFine pad. I colored with markers and stamped the dots with the long dot border in the Imperial purple to create stripes. I then stamped the Curly vine dots from the Trifles Vines stamp set in the Glue pad and sprinkled on the Lime Sherbet Sparkletts glitter over the long dot border. It gave it a delicate shimmer and artistic swirls.
After making the bow, I added a 1/4 inch ribbon and threaded a button from our new button collection.

Featured Guest Project

Hi All,

One of our fave DeNami fans, Kandi R, shared this wonderful project she made with DeNami stamps.
She used a wooden box (cigar box) to create beach themed gifts for her friends and family. Take a look at all the details, right down to the matching pen and paper clips.

Cards- W Springfield Show Day 1

Hi All,

We enjoyed stamping with you at the West Springfield show this past weekend. I am posting pics from both the W Springfield, MA show and Syracuse, NY show in the coming weeks.
This card was stamped in the Versa Magic Aloe Vera for the background. I filled in the leaves with the 3D Lacquer and the Lime Sherbet Sparkletts Glitter. I also used the Versa Fine Vintage Sepia for the Birthday circle words to tie in the brown in the card. I made my own background with the bouquet from the Wedding Petit Fours stamp set. I stamped in Versa Fine Black Onyx and colored with markers. I did the Mini polka dot in the Brilliance Orchid. The circle dots was in Versa Magic Sea Breeze. I then stamped the same circle dots in the Glue Pad and sprinkled the Lime Sherbet Sparkletts Glitter. I used the Lime Sherbet and Jade pearlescent papers on the edge of the card.

I stamped the Mini Polka dots in the Versa Magic Sea Breeze and Aloe Vera for a background. I stamped the center of the cards with Versa Fine Vintage Sepia and colored in. I added polka dots to the lamb. I then put 3 D Lacquer on the lamb and sprinkled Fun Fluff on the lamb. I went back over the lamb's ear and added more 3D Lacquer and Fun Fluff for added dimension. I put the 3D Lacquer on the lambs feet and sprinkled on the Lavender Sparkletts Glitter. I then added 3D Lacquer on his little face and left it to dry for a glossy finish. Lots of texture. Really a cute card.

Cards- Puyallup Show day 13

Hi All,

Here is a unique color combo using the sage and eggplant cardstock. I stamped the leafy vine stamp in Brilliance Platinum for the background and the Imperial Purple VersaFine on the band.
The same leafy vine was stamped with the Platinum on the Eggplant cardstock. I then stamped the leafy vine and added the mini flower to create a bouquet. I added dots of 3D Lacquer and Silver Sparkletts for a rhinestone effect.

This picture doesn't do this justice. I stamped the background on white cardstock using Sea Breeze and Aloe Vera VersaMagic. I overlayed vellum paper and stamped the leafy spring and steam stamp with the glue pad and glitter. I stamped the dot circles in the same Sea Breeze and Aloe vera and then stamped the leafy sprigs with the contrasting colors. (blue with green and green with blue). I filled in the leaves with the 3D Lacquer and then sprinkled on the Sparkletts glitter in Blue Ice and Lime Sherbet. A very delicate and elegant card.

Cards- Puyallup show day 12

Hi All,

Here is a cute chickie design by Krista. This pop up card base is in the variety pack. She stamped the heart chickies and cut them out to attach to the base. This was a delicate daisy card using the Brilliance orchid pad and pink markers.

The background was embossed with the VersaMark pad and gold embossing powder. I then added the 3D Lacquer on the leaves and sprinkled the Bronze Sparkletts. I nested several of the circle stamps to work with the Leafy sprig stamp.

Cards- Puyallup Show day 11

Hi All,

We just ended our West Springfield , MA show today. Though it was a long day, the nice ladies kept me going. It was great.

Here is a pop up card using the monkey stamp. I took the Party time Petit Fours stamp set and cut out the party hats and balloons to the monkey stamp to create a party theme. It is a festive card. Great for birthdays, retirement, any kind of celebration. Who can resist a party animal? This is the cover of the pop up card. You can use an Xacto knife to cut out the arms and add a present from the Party time stamp set.

This was the filigree stamps used with the Brilliance Platinum pad. I then used the 3D Lacquer on the design and sprinkled with Amethyst and Silver Sparkletts glitters. You can add a message to the center or party info.

New Product- Buttons!

Hi All,

Just thought I would mention that we have buttons, lots of buttons at the shows. We will have some coming on the website, but you can always call or email regarding them.

At the West Springfield, MA show I decided the best way to showcase the buttons was by wearing them. I made bracelets out of them. I will post a pic.

We have a large assortment of colors to choose from. I made a black button bracelet and a lime bracelent. One was with elastic, the other with wire.

The buttons can be attached to cards or used for crafts. How about adding them to the cover of a journal for a cute touch. I use the ATG adhesive on the button to make a glue dot and stick them on the card. You can also tie them on the card by threading them through the holes and tying them on. I generally have a bow attached to the card and I'll take a 1/4 inch ribbon and tie it to the knot of the bow so that it has tails. Then I thread the tails through the holes and tie them onto the bow so the button sits on the knot of the bow.

Cards- Puyallup Show day 10

Hi All,

This card has lots of fun scallops in it. I used the mini scallop heart stamp from the Easter Sunday Petit Four for the background. The mini Polka Dot was done with Versa Magic in the Aloe Vera. I stamped the card in Brilliance Orchid all over and added 3D Lacquer and Strawberry Freeze Sparkletts glitter. You can use this card for Breast Cancer.

This is a tri-fold card. The chickie scallop circles are attached on the left side to create a tab to hold the right flap down. A unique twist to an A-2 size card. I used the Quickie Glue pen and Citrine glitter for shimmery chicks.

Cards- Puyallup Show day 9

Hi All,
Here is a unique color combo using brown and red. I used the 3D Lacquer with the Ruby Red and Bronze Sparkletts glitter for a dimensional shine. It looks far better in person that in this photo. The Bronze glitter is such a popular accessory.I love the colors on this card. The pansies turned out great. By blending shades of pinks and purples, you get a watercolor effect, but much brighter. I used the Imperial Purple VersaFine for the pansies. Because it is instant dry, you don't get any smearing of outline for a crisp design.

I know I've done cherry cards before. It's been so sunny these days that it was in order. Add 3D Lacquer to the cherries for a dimensional gloss and brightness. I stamped the Dot circle with the Glue pad and sprinkled glitter for a delicate shimmer in the background.
