Cards- W Springfield Show Day 2

Hi All,

I had fun making this fun pop up card. I added fun touches to create a whimsical card.

I stamped the Vine stamp in Versa Fine Vintage Sepia and Versa Fine Satin Red for a tone on tone background. This Vine can be used with the safari animals, monkeys or for an elegant look. Very versatile. Notice the monkeys climbing up the ice cream cones. The middle one is eating the cone. I attached the cherry on top of his head. Add 3D Lacquer for added shine and dimension.

I love this elegant look. The black and white look can be masculine, as well. I stamped the Vine in the Onyx Black VersaFine. I added 3D Lacquer to the leaves and sprinkled the Silver Sparkletts glitter. After stamped the center images (With Love circle and Tree) in Onyx Black, I added the 3D Lacquer and Midnight Blue Sparkletts around the leaves. I put the 3D Lacquer on the leaves and the Silver Sparkletts Glitter. I used the Pearl and Silver pearlescent papers for the band for an elegant look.

This card was stamped in the Imperial Purple VersaFine pad. I colored with markers and stamped the dots with the long dot border in the Imperial purple to create stripes. I then stamped the Curly vine dots from the Trifles Vines stamp set in the Glue pad and sprinkled on the Lime Sherbet Sparkletts glitter over the long dot border. It gave it a delicate shimmer and artistic swirls.
After making the bow, I added a 1/4 inch ribbon and threaded a button from our new button collection.

Cards- Puyallup Show

Hi All,

Some of you have been waiting and waiting for my blog update. I have been working diligently on the next season's stamp collection, so unfortunately, the blog has been on hold. We have actively on the stamp tour to boot. So card ideas are still flowing, it's just getting backlogged here.

Here is the latest card ideas from the Puyallup show. My daughter and fellow demonstrator did a fabulous job creating beautiful cards and demo-ing techniques. Her cards are featured below.
She fluffed these monkeys with the 3 D Lacquer and Fun Fluff.

This was a simple, but colorful card.

I had fun playing with our new clear boxes. We have two sizes. This is the larger of the two. I used the tulip border stamp and VersaFine Black Onyx ink pad with Tombow markers. Stamp the tulips on white address labels and wrap around the Hershey's Nugget chocolates.

I used the daisy from the Rosevine Collection Petit fours for this gift box of candies. I stamped the scalloped solid rectangle in the VersaMagic Sea Breeze, VersaMagic Aloe Vera, and Brilliance Orchid pad for the background. I then stamped the daisy in the VersaFine Vintage Sepia and colored in with Tombow Markers on the white address labels.

Cards Akron Show Day 2

Hi All,

Mother's Day is just around the corner. I had fun making a cheerful card for the occasion. What better than give your Mom a garden patch flowers and one that does not need to be watered. This is using the 3 columns pop-up card kit from DeNami Design. You can get it here http://www.denamidesign.com/
This is the cover I made for the card. You can just make this cover as your actual card if you prefer. I used the Eggplant cardstock and the Platinum Brilliance ink pad. I then used the 3D Lacquer on the vine leaves and sprinkled it with the Amethyst Sparkletts glitter. It gave it a dimensional effect that was stunning.
I stamped the white band with the same vine stamp in the Imperial Purple VersFine pad and added the same Amethyst Sparkletts glitter. I also added dots of 3D Lacquer and sprinkled the Silver Sparkletts and then did dot for the Green Sparkletts glitter.
I stamped the circle stamps with the circle sentiments in the Imperial Purple VersaFine. I used the Pink MV-04 Marvy Punch and the Giga MV-05 Marvy Punch with the Pearl Cardstock for the outer circle.

This was a really sweet card. I stamped the same vine stamp as the Mother's Day card above to create the background. I used the Sea Breeze VersaMagic pad and then added the 3 D Lacquer on the leaves and sprinkled with the Blue Ice Sparkletts glitter. I layered the band with the Blue Ice cardstock, the Pearl cardstock and the Bronze cardstock to create the band. I stamped the white band with the Leafy Sprig, which is part of the same collection, and stamped some in the Sea Breeze and glue pad then sprinkled the Blue ice Sparkletts. This allowed it to look different than the background.
I stamped the Double ring and Circle sentiments "wedding" in Onyx Black VersaFine. I then used the Wedding petit fours for the focal design. I then colored in with markers and added glitter with the Quickie glue pen and Sparkletts. I topped this with the Iridescent edge ribbon.

This is a cheerful card using the new little polka dot stamp. I then used the Large Swirl background with the Glue pad and Ruby Red glitter. I then layered the band with black, red and white. I stamped the white band with the polka dot border.
I stamped the circle dot stamp and various ladybugs with the VersaFine Onyx Black pad and colored in with markers. I finished it off with the 3D Lacquer for the glossy touch.
Notice the little "charms" on the bow. I used the one inch punch and stamped the tiny ladybug using the "Bitty Bugs" petit fours set. You can use the various bitty bugs for a background along with the little polka dot to create a variation for the background. Stamp on a white cardstock and color in for more contrast.

I have more cards to upload, so stay tuned!

Card Inspirations

Hi All,
Here is a special pocket card. It can be used as an invite or a special greeting card. The fruit slice is stamped in the Impress Cherry pink on the Magenta cardstock for a nice tone on tone effect. Stamp the drinks in the Versa Fine Onyx Black and color in with water based markers. Tombow markers were used here.
