Stamp Tour- Cincinnati, OH

Hello All,

We just returned from a whirlwind show in Cincinnati, OH called the Stampaway USA show. It is a premier show with classes going on from Thursday through the weekend. There are several classes going on simultaneously, so you can literally be busy with classes all day on Friday.

I taught to a sold out class of 30 ladies. We had a ball. The class theme was Floral Folio. It featured a Folio with 4 matching cards. They all loved the projects. I was so impressed that we made it through considering we had a the whole folio, which includes the cover and inside pockets, plus the dimensional 4 cards.

So this is what happened this weekend... We flew in on Thurs and arrived Thurs evening. The next morning we began setting up our show booth around 9 AM, I left with my trusty assistant (my daughter), to set up at 10:30AM. When we go there, they were still cleaning up. so we took a food break and ate until we could set up. The class began at 11:30 AM and ended at 2PM. We then quickly got back to the set up and ended at around 5 PM. Then the evening festivities began at 8PM, for which we arrived at around 7PM and the show went until 11PM.

The next morning brought us to getting there at 8 AM for the opening at 9-5, then we tore down the booth and headed over for a post-show party at 9 PM until close to midnight. We flew back home the next day. Didn't just reading this make you tired?? Whew! We are back at the shop, but will start gearing up for the Novi, MI show.

This month is particularly busy with the premiere of our fall/winter collection and the shows. I will start planning my Christmas cards this month since I have a "free" weekend to work on it with the kids.

We met lots of excited stampers at the show and some familiar faces. The Friday night was Pajama Party night. So you will see a pic with some of us in our jammies.

We revamped our look in time for this show. Come visit us at a show so you can see our fresh look and get in on the stamping excitement.

By special request, here are the pop-up card covers that go with the pop-up insides featured previously.

This one goes with the Mimi bridal card.

This is just a glitzy card, but can be used as a cover.

Here is the chickie Thanksgiving card. The chickies are dimensional and fluffy using the 3-D Crystal Lacquer and Fun Fluff.

This is a cascading card with fluffy chicks and glittery chicks. The new Yellow is used with the Quickie glue pen to give the chicks color and shimmer.

Here is a festive card with glittery chicks. The dot circle below is coupled with the Extra Large Marvy scallop circle punch. We also have a scallop circle stamp that was used on another pop-up card cover. It was also designed to be used with the Marvy scallop circle punch.

This card goes with the Mimi Slumber party pop-up card.

This is for the surfer Mimi pop-up card.

This is another cover variation for the Mimi Thanksgiving pop-up card.

This is the other Thanksgiving pop-up card variation cover.

This was a another pop-up card cover variation. Here is that scallop circle stamp with the tulip scallop stamp using the Marvy Scallop Circle punch. Cute! I dipped the whole punch in the Glue Pad and sprinkled it with the Strawberry Freeze glitter. Though you can't see it in the pic, the background was also stamped with the small dot wreath stamp using the glue pad and Blue Ice glitter.

This is the new Paige paisley paper by BellaPress made into a gift bag.

This is a cherry pocket card. Lots of layers and dimension.

Here is a cover for a pop-up card.

I made a froggy party pop-up card and this is the cover.

Here is the Mimi tree pop-up card using the columns pop-up card kit.

Here is the Floral Folio class attendees. They are busy at work.

This was at the Friday night Pajama Party. Our stamping friend is holding up Mimi Pajama party stamps.
